These are the key elements of the only event in Italy dedicated to YOUTH, EMPLOYMENT and INTERNATIONALIZATION.

The Festival is composed of four main projects from which participants can choose the one most suited to their academic background, professional aspirations or general interest.

The four projects are:

Rome Model United Nations

The Rome Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations committees and specialized agencies.

It has reached its 9th edition with the patronage and support of the main international institutions. 2000 delegates from around the world, 7 committees, prestigious guests, and an innovative approach to foster greater involvement and debate from the youth on current international issues is what will make this RomeMUN one to remember.

The RomeMUN is a project which uses the “learn by doing” approach which means our participants acquire various practical skills such as public speaking (because of how many speeches they have to make), capacity to draft official international documents (position papers and UN resolutions), team building as they work in groups to find solutions and create resolutions, leadership abilities as they lead blocs of nations who share a common stance, research skills (research done before and during the simulation), adapting and working in a multicultura environment given that there are participants from over 100 countries in the world.

Rome Businness Game

Rome Business Game

The Rome Business Game is the simulation dedicated to the world of business, international markets, marketing, and business management.

300 participants from around the world will compete against each for an opportunity within the world of international business.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet business and marketing experts, acting as judges, as they propose innovative solutions/products to challenges presented by those same experts. They will also be developing and refining a set of soft skills which are often overlooked yet essential for career success: learning the techniques for proper business management, analysis and insight of business dynamics, team working, and practical problem solving.

The Rome Business Game allows participants to interact in a truly multicultural environment, working in English and developing managerial and technical skills which are extremely important in todays competitive international job market. Managers of our partner companies will present practical business cases to the participants who, divided into teams, have to propose a project (launch of a new product, innovative marketing campaign, practical solution(s) to a company-wide problems, etc.). The winning team has the possibility of an interview with a human resources manager of one of our partner companies or even an internship.

Rome Press Game

Rome Press Game

The Rome Press Game is dedicated to the world of journalism, international communication, and interpretation and translation. It is the first role-playing game in the world to simulate the news and media on several levels: radio, television, and web. The Rome Press Game, given its multicultural approach to the world of information, is also the perfect practice for all aspiring translators interested in working as part of an international news team, reproducing materials in multiple languages.

The simulation uses the “learn by doing” approach so that participants can acquire a full spectrum of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of journalism and media, such as learning the tools for proper sociopolitical and economic analysis; journalistic writing skills within the environment of new media; the necessary skills to utilize new means of multimedia and online journalism; refined writing ability and capacity to relate within a structured news/editorial team; designing and developing informative products, whether traditional or innovative; team working skills; ability to interact with the public and heads of media as part of a press office; the preparation of manuscripts (style and composition).

International Careers Course

The International Careers Course is dedicated to teaching the dynamics, mechanics and the procedures which are the foundation of the structured, complex, and competitive world of careers within international organizations and institutions: the United Nations, the European Union, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, NGOs, Multinational Companies, and Investment Banks.

The opportunities offered by these organizations and companies are many, but equally elevated is the level of preparation, academic merits and experience required. If one is not well informed about which path(s) to take, the right preparation, and the requirements and skills necessary to work in such a context, the world of “international careers” is likely to remain a horizon too far to reach.

International Careers Fair

International Careers Fair

All participants of the Festival have access to the International Careers Fair.

All careers pass through Rome: again this year at the Carriere Internazionali Fair, training, internships, and work opportunities are coming together to meet with interested students who want a valuable preview into their future. Now in its 7th edition, the event is designed to reward ambitious boys and girls who want to sit down at the table with professionals to discuss their future. The fair promotes dialogue and exchange between the educational system and labour market in a direct and efficient manner, allowing them to get a first-hand look at the world of careers at an international level, which is comprised of companies, non-profit entities, and international organizations. For students who are still unsure about their path in life, this fair is an ideal starting point with which to educate themselves on Universities, Academies and Training institutions both in Italy and around the world. The 7th edition will be full of novelty as the numbers of exhibitors, participants, and subject areas are constantly growing.
